* You can caucus at age 17 as long as you'll be 18 by election day (November 8, 2016)
* Look up your precinct location hereiowademocrats.org/…

*Plan to arrive when doors open at 6:30pm. You MUST BE IN LINE by 7pm or you will not be let into the caucus.

I saw this on a FB comment addressing those who have to work that night, so cannot confirm, but check into it:  “You are legally allowed 3 hours to caucus and to vote. They don't have to pay you for that time but they cannot stop you from voting or caucusing.”

There may be a lot of young people, or even codgers like me, who do not know how to get themselves to the critically important Iowa caucus.  Our future, indeed, the future of the world, may very well be in their hands, and by GAWD I’d appreciate their help saving the world.  A previous post about a young enthusiastic Dem candidate supporter who did not have a clue how to vote in the caucuses got me thinking — is there something I can do to reach out to Dems in Iowa and help them get to that dang thing?

When I lived in Minnesota for a short time, I was so confused by the caucus process, I did not get to vote in the caucus/primary.  I had never lived in a caucus state before.  What the heck did I know? Nuthin’, and that may be the case for a LOT of people.  (Of course, that was “PG”— Pre-Google.)

Send this info!  Thanks!
